US rapper Sean Price has died at the age of 43.
According to reports this evening, he passed away in his sleep however the cause of death is currently unknown.
A representative told Billboard: “It is with beyond a heavy heart that Duck Down Music is sadly confirming that Sean Price passed away earlier this morning in his Brooklyn apartment, Saturday, August 8th, 2015.”

They added: “The cause of death is currently unknown, but it was reported that he died in his sleep. He’s survived by his wife and three children…
“Sean’s family and friends are asking for time to grieve and process the news. Further details will be issued when more information is available.”
Price was in duo Heltah Skeltah, whose songs included I Ain’t Havin’ That, before he joined Boot Camp Clik. He then went solo and was believed to be working on new music before his death.
