Tom Hardy has broken our hearts here in the Her.ie office by referring to Charlotte Riley as his wife, suggesting that the pair are married.
The actor was speaking to Us Weekly at the Cinema Society screening of his new film Locke in New York City this week when he made the remark.
He told the publication: “Well my wife is an actor as well so she sort of gets it. Apart from that, I’m a pain in the ass really. You know what I mean? Like any other boyfriend”. (He said boyfriend, there’s still hope!)
When asked about her best quality, the heartthrob said: “Aw, she’s pure. She’s just a very kind, pure person”. (We can’t even be mad, that is SO sweet.)
So basically, Tom and Charlotte (who got engaged back in 2010) may or may not be married but he is still crazy about her and our hearts are still broken.
Tom referred to his other half Charlotte as his wife.
