“They’ve Both Been Through a Hell of a Lot Lately”: Coronation Street Star Splits From Girlfriend

Actor Michael Le Vell has ended his relationship with Blanca Fouche.

The Coronation Street actor, who was acquitted over a fortnight ago following child sex case allegations, is said to have split with his girlfriend earlier this week.

According to the Mirror, a source close to the star said: “Michael has been through the toughest ordeal of his life.

"He just needs some time and space to be on his own, get his head right and rebuild his life.

“His short-term priority is to have a holiday then get back to work on Coronation Street and do what he does best.”

Le Vell, 48, began his relationship with Blanca, 31, back in May. The soapstar had previously credited her with keeping him on the right track leading up to the trial.

According to a friend, it was Michael who decided to split.

The source said: “It’s a very ­difficult time and they are still close.

"However, they are both understandably upset. They’ve both been though a hell of a lot lately.”

Corrie bosses are set to bring back Le Vell’s character, Kevin Webster to the soap in the Christmas special.
