They’re On A Break – Star Couple Taking Time Apart

It wasn’t long ago that we heard a certain question was going to be popped but now it has emerged that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham are on a temporary break.

The 26-year-old model is said to be taking some time away from her actor beau, as well as work, at the moment.

 

Jason and Rosie have been an item since April 2010.

A source told the Daily Mail that there is nobody else involved before adding: “They love each other very much and are not making an announcement because they’re still hoping to work things out.

“But things have not been good, there have been lots of arguments and they both need some space. They are taking some time out from each other. Bear in mind there’s almost a 20-year age gap between them – they are going to run into some issues.”

The ‘split’ marks a stark contrast to what we were hearing about the couple, who have been dating for three years, at the beginning of the summer. Rumours were rife that Jason, best known for his roles in Snatch and The Expendables, was going to ask Rosie to marry him.

In a recent interview with Elle magazine Rosie was gushing about her other half. She said: “Many models are in long term relationships for stability... That’s how I see my relationship. Well, I see it in many ways but one of the most beautiful things is that I feel at home wherever I am in the world because of him.”

UPDATE (3.18pm): According to reports this afternoon Rosie Huntington Whiteley’s publicist has released a statement on the matter.

It denies that the couple are taking some time apart. It reads: “Rosie and Jason have not split and are not on a break. In fact, Rosie just got back from spending the weekend with Jason on the set of his new movie. They have actually never been happier.”
