Kensington Palace has announced on Twitter this morning that Princess Charlotte is to be christened this July.
The newest addition to the royal family will be christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham on July 5.

Princess Charlotte, who was born on May 2nd, is fourth in line to the throne.
The second child of Prince William and the Duchess of Camebridge will be joined by family and older brother Prince George, who turns two on July 22nd.
