Actress Laura Vandervoort and her boyfriend Oliver Trevena are engaged after less than a year of dating.
According to Us Weekly, the proposal happened on December 31st when the couple, who got together in the middle of last year, were on holiday.
“The couple was visiting a castle in England and it was a really romantic setting,” a source told the publication.
“Oliver told Laura to close her eyes at 11.11am, an important number and time for her, and when she opened her eyes he was down on one knee.”
They added: “She was totally surprised, and he gave her a vintage diamond ring. She’s over the moon and so happy”
Laura is best known for her roles in television shows Smallville and Bitten but has also appeared in a number of films including This Means War and Ted.
Laura and Oliver got engaged at the end of last year.
