Sweeney and Glen Powell blew audiences away in their enemies-lovers rom-com Anyone But You, but it looks like she's got another co-star in mind.
The Euphoria actress told BuzzFeed that she thinks Paul Mescal, would be 'fun to work with'.
While the Kildare native has enjoyed major success for his roles in Normal People, Aftersun, and All of Us Strangers, he has yet to dip his toes into the rom-com genre.
However, Paul has admitted that he is keen to challenge himself by starring in a rom-com in the future.
"Comedy scares me deeply because I think I saw Bottoms recently and I was in awe of how they do that," he told Awards Watch.
"That’s one of those I leave the cinema and I’m incredibly jealous and brightened of everybody’s talents involved with that film.
"But I think in the next five years I’m going to set myself a challenge to do maybe like a rom-com with Ayo (Edebiri) or something like that would be cool."
More recently, Paul again expressed his desire to do romcoms to Amelia Dimoldenberg while on Chicken Shop Date.

Meanwhile, Sydney is well on her way to dominating the romantic comedy movie genre after viewers applauded her role as a Bea in Anyone But You.
The film has been compared to the greats like When Harry Met Sally and How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, meaning there's a hunger for another Syndey Sweeney rom-com.
If the two were to cross paths for a rom-com, we bet that it could revive the beloved genre permanently.
