Graziano Di Prima has been axed from Strictly
Strictly Come Dancing star Graziano Di Prima reportedly kicked and hit his dance partner Zara McDermott during training.
The shocking revelations emerged after the Italian dancer was axed from the programme.
According to reports, Graziano and Zara's training footage was released and producers also made multiple complaints about his behaviour.
Zara McDermott was also invited in for interviews about her former dance partner's behaviour.
He allegedly kicked and hit Zara on multiple occasions.
The footage of the incidents is allegedly so bad that it "reduced those who have seen it to tears".
Graziano responded to the news on Instagram over the weekend but said he deeply regrets his actions.
"I deeply regret the events that led to my departure from Strictly. My intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime.
"Respecting the BBC HR process, I understand it's best for the show that I step away," he continued.
"While there are aspects of this story involving external influences that I can't discuss at this time, I remain committed to being strong for my family and friends.
"I wish the Strictly family and the BBC nothing but success in the future. I also want to thank everyone who has supported my career, both professionally and personally. When the time is right, I will share my story."
Zara has not yet addressed the allegations publically, but The Mirror claims she has consulted with her lawyers.
