Shannen Doherty sadly died on July 13th
Tributes have been pouring in following the death of Shannen Doherty.
This afternoon, the Charmed star’s publicist confirmed she sadly lost her battle with cancer on Saturday, July 13th.
Fans of the actress were heartbroken to hear of her untimely passing with many saying she was a huge part of their childhood.
One wrote, “She fought a very long battle… she was always so courageous and so positive during her illness. It’s so sad.”

Another added, “This one hurts. An absolute icon.”
Shannen’s Charmed co-star Alyssa Milano penned a tribute to the late actress.
“It’s no secret that Shannen and I had a complicated relationship, but at its core was someone I deeply respected and was in awe of. She was a talented actress, beloved by many and the world is less without her. My condolences to all who loved her,” she told US Weekly.
Doherty’s publicist issued a statement following her untimely passing on Saturday.
She told People: “It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of actress Shannen Doherty. On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of fighting the disease.
“The devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend was surrounded by her loved ones as well as her dog, Bowie. The family asks for their privacy at this time so they can grieve in peace.”
Doherty was first diagnosed with cancer in 2015 but went into remission in 2017.
Sadly the cancer returned two years later and Doherty confirmed it had spread to her bones in 2023.
At the time, the actress said she was not done living.
“I’m not done with living. I’m not done with loving. I am just not — I’m not done.”
