Singer Kate Pierson Ties The Knot In Hawaii

Singer Kate Pierson of The B-52s fame has tied the knot with her partner Monica Coleman at a ceremony in Hawaii this week. The Love Shack singer took to Facebook to announce the news, sharing pictures with fans along with the caption, ‘#itsofficial!’. The 67-year-old posted a number of different snaps from the big day. “The wedding was attended by the entire B-52s band,” a representative told E! News. “Sia Furler and husband Erik Anders Lang were the witnesses.” Kate originally announced the news of her upcoming nuptials on Saturday, taking to Facebook to say: “Monica and I are getting married in Hawaii!” along with a happy snap of the couple. “Sia performed the song she wrote for the couple Crush Me With You Love on Pierson’s first solo album Guitars and Microphones and was accompanied by the famous Hawaii music group the Lim Family, who serenaded the attendees during the event,” the rep continued. “Fred Scheider made the best man speech.” All images via Kate Pierson/Facebook.
