Singer Finalises Divorce After 12 Years Of Marriage

Singer Toni Braxton is officially back on the market having finalised her divorce from husband Keri Lewis.

According to reports the Grammy winner and her estranged husband have ended their 12-year-marriage.

The couple has finalised their divorce. 

Her rep confirmed the news to People after which a statement was released on behalf of the couple who tied the knot in 1998.

It read: “The couple has had an amicable split and will both be actively involved in raising their two sons, 11-year-old Denim and 10-year-old Diezel.”

Speaking previously about their 2009 split in a Behind the Music special, 42-year-old Toni said: “I had to figure out a plan for my life that had nothing to do with him. I was angry with everybody. I couldn’t believe this was happening to me.”

Hopefully this will mark a new beginning for the Un-break My Heart star who has had her fair share of troubles in recent years including a lupus diagnosis in 2010 and bankruptcy.
