Neighbours star Eve Morey has confirmed that she is expecting her first child with her fiancé.
The actress, who has played Sonya Rebecchi on the Australian soap for five years, reportedly told TV Week that the prospect of parenthood is “ridiculously exciting.”
According to Digital Spy, it is not yet known if show bosses will write her pregnancy into the soap. In the programme, Sonya and husband Toadie (Ryan Moloney) welcomed a baby last year.
The onscreen couple have been going through a rough patch in recent months but appear to be getting things back on track.
However, all of the Ramsay Street residents will be in danger when a tornado hits Erinsborough in an upcoming storyline.
Toadie and Sonya are one of the soap’s favourite couples.
