During his recent visit to Tacloban, in the Philippines, David Beckham made himself a very special friend.
The sports superstar, who is an ambassador for UNICEF, decided to head out to meet those who survived Typhoon Haiyan this week.
While there, he spoke to a number of kids including one little girl with whom he got a (very cute) picture taken. It was subsequently uploaded to the charity’s Twitter account.
Speaking about his trip, David said: “I was humbled to visit Tacloban and see how people are still so full of spirit despite the devastation they have suffered. Close to six million children are affected and many have lost loved ones.”
