Princess Charlotte may only be a month old, but her birth has already caused commotion between her late arrival, Prince George’s little wave as he visited at the hospital and now her first royal portrait.
In a series of tweets thanking the public for their kindness and support at the birth of the newest addition to the royal family, Kensington Palace announced on Twitter this morning that the first portrait of both royal babies would be released this evening.
Tweeting the image at 9pm this evening, Kensington Palace released the first glimpse of the royal baby and her toddler brother in a sweet family portrait:

According to The Mirror, it is believed the picture is a photograph taken by mum Kate while the family stayed at her country home Anmer Hall. The snaps show a cherubic Prince George, who turns two next month, staring down lovingly at sister Charlotte in the first snap of the princess since her birth. Gorgeous!
