One Of Our Favourite TV Presenters Set To Tie The Knot Today

Declan Donnelly is set to marry partner Ali Astall in a church ceremony in his home town today – with his brother Father Dermott Donnelly set to lead the service. Declan, who proposed to Ali in November last year, will be supported on the altar by his other Tv-half Ant McPartlin who is best man for the day. Tweeting his excitement this morning, Declan posted:

The Britain’s Got Talent presenter will be surrounded by his a host of famous faces, including Simon Cowell, Keith Lemon, Holly Willoughby and Tess Daly and Vernon Kay, as well as friends and close family. The proud Geordie is set to marry the talent manager in St.Mary’s Cathedral in Newcastle upon Tyne later today. Speaking to The Sun, a friend of the couple said: "The fact that he's waited so long to marry shows how serious he is about marriage vows, but he has absolutely no doubts that Ali is The One."
