Molly-Mae has opened up about the reality of motherhood
Molly-Mae Hague is adapting to a new way of parenting as she learns to co-parent her daughter with her ex-fiancé Tommy Fury.
Following their split in August, Molly-Mae has been speaking out about motherhood but she recently reflected on her earliest days as a mum.
And the influencer was brutally honest about the newborn stage.
In a recent YouTube video, the mum admitted the first few weeks were like “hell and back”.
She told her followers that she knew so little about being a parent.
“Those first few weeks of Bambi’s life… hell and back. We were having a breakdown,” she said.
Molly-Mae explained that her and Tommy didn’t have any visitors during the first few weeks and it was a big mistake.
“I basically said no visitors and I wanted to be able to say I had all this time with just me and her to bond.
“The first night with Bambi in the house, I was by myself. Now I look back, it sends shivers down my spine, I had no idea what I was doing,” she said.
As difficult as it was, Molly-Mae said she would do it all over again because she really wants Bambi to have a sibling.
The mum said she is open to having another child.
“I really want Bambi to have a sister, because I would have had the most boring childhood, even though it would have been stress-free, it would not have been anywhere near as funny,” she added.
Fans have been praising the mum for being so honest about her parenting journey because so many influencers often make it look perfectly easy. Molly-Mae’s honesty about her struggles, especially in the early days, will certainly make many feel less alone.
