Megan Fox has shared some of her most personal and intimate secrets in her new book of poetry.

‘Pretty Boys Are Poisonous’ hit shelves yesterday (November 7th), and two poems in the publication reveal that the actress suffered a miscarriage.

Fox, 37, says she and her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly (Colton Baker), went on a ‘wild journey’ having gone through the experience together.

In conversation with Kayna Whitworth on ‘Good Morning America’, she says the miscarriage was a first for her, having welcomed three babies into the world with her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green.

“I’ve never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately…trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’” Fox shares.

In the poetry book, the ‘Transformers’ actress reflects on an ultrasound of a baby girl at 10 weeks and a day, writing, “maybe if you hadn’t… maybe if i had…”

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the book, she writes: “I want to hold your hand / hear your laugh,” and later, “but now / I have to say / goodbye.”

Another line in ‘Pretty Boys Are Poisonous’ describes her mindset of about imagining holding a baby “as they rip you from my insides.”

“I will pay any price,” writes Fox. “Tell me please / what is the ransom / for her soul?”

Fox shares three children with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green: Noah, 10, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 6.

The pair filed called it quits privately in November 2019 and publicly in May 2020. They filed for divorce in November that year, citing irreconcilable differences.

The ‘Jennifer’s Body’ actress and Machine Gun Kelly fuelled romance rumours as early as May 2020 and their relationship went public in June of that year.

The ‘twin flames’ got engaged in January 2022.
