“This book is going to ignite 5th wave feminism.”

Megan Fox, a.k.a Machine Gun Kelly’s ‘Twin Flame’ has announced her first book will hit shelves this November.

The collection of poetry, entitled ‘Pretty Boys are Poisonous’ is said to document ways we risk who we are in order to fit into the shape of the ones we love.

According to a press release from books publishers, Simon & Schuster, it will consist of 70 heartbreaking and dark poems that showcases the ‘Transformers‘ actress’ “wicked humour.”

“These poems were written in an attempt to excise the illness that had taken root in me because of my silence,” Fox, 37, shared to her Instagram account.

The poetry collection is believed to be an expression of freedom for the actress, who says that she has spent her “entire life keeping the secrets of men”.

Striving for the raw and honest poetry to resonate and embolden others, the actress said: “I hope that my words can inspire others to take back their happiness and their identity by using their voice to illuminate what’s been buried, but not forgotten, in the darkness.”

The ‘Till Death’ star’s fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, was quick to share his support of the announcement, commenting: “proud of you.”

Meanwhile, other Instagram users and fans of the star have shared the same sentiment.

One wrote: “It’s giving my poetry book but revenge style.”

“I’ve never wanted to buy a book written by a celebrity until today,” another declared.

And my personal favourite: “This book is going to ignite 5th wave feminism and I’ve never been so excited for anything.”

Walk, don’t run to Amazon to preorder now ahead of it’s release date on November 7th, 2023.
