Maura Higgins confirms she’s single ahead of I’m A Celeb debut

Maura Higgins is set to enter the jungle

The reality star finally confirmed she was joining the show after weeks of speculation.

Higgins said to MailOnline that she's so excited to meet campmate Coleen Rooney.

"I’m excited to meet her [Coleen]. I would do the exact same as what she did. Put up something on my Instagram story and just have certain people view it to catch that person out. That is the way my brain would work," she shared.

Maura also said she's looking forward to meeting Irish boxer Barry McGuigan. She believes they will both get on very well.

She said, "I already know Tulisa. So I'll definitely get on with her. She's amazing, and I reckon I'd get on really well with Barry McGuigan. You know, Irish, I think, very humorous."

Before she enters the jungle, Higgins responded to major speculation about her love life.

She had been spotted out in public with fellow reality star Pete Wicks but has stressed that they're not in a relationship.

She said they've just been dating and nothing serious is going on between them.

"I’m not [in a relationship with Mr Wicks]. I’ve been on dates with many people. I mean, I date, but I’m very much single. Everyone goes on dates," she said.

Higgins will join singer Danny Jones, Strictly's Oti Mabuse, Coleen Rooney, Barry McGuigan, and GK Barry.
