Is Sabrina Carpenter returning to acting?
We’re fairly certain Mamma Mia 3 will happen in the very near future, with numerous cast members expressing interest in the project.
Lead actress Amanda Seyfried recently spoke out about the possibility of a third film and wants one pop star involved in the movie.
In the second film, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, her character Sophie finds out she’s pregnant.
There will likely be a new character in the third film – Sophie’s daughter and the actress already knows who she wants to star as her child.
Seyfried recently confirmed she would love popstar Sabrina Carpenter to play her daughter in the movie.
She said she is willing to make the dream casting happen.

“If Sabrina Carpenter wants to play my daughter, I’ll make it happen. I’m a big fan,” Film Updates reports.
Mamma Mia is one of Seyfried’s most iconic roles and one her children are starting to appreciate.
She told People, “My mom showed my daughter, and my daughter is now obsessed, and so she’s 7, so she’s in second grade, and all her friends are obsessed. So now they’re starting to recognize me as Sophie, which is a little weird, but how beautiful.”
Christine Baranski was the latest star to speak out about the third movie.
She dined with the franchise lead Judy Craymer recently and said a proposed story is in the works.
“We’ll all be on some fabulous Greek or Croatian island having a blast. I hope,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.
“I wouldn’t put it past Judy Kramer to get everybody back together,” she added.
