Made in Chelsea star Stephanie Pratt has revealed she battled with a crystal meth addiction and eating disorders throughout her teens and early twenties.
The reality TV star, who first shot to fame on The Hills before becoming a season regular on Made in Chelsea opened up about her struggles with addiction and self-harm in a new autobiography, Made in Reality.

In an extract from her book, Stephanie admitted to smoking crystal meth up to 13 times a day from the age of 14, using the drug before school, during her lunch breaks and again at night.
Writing about her addiction with drugs, the 29-year old said:
“I was 14 or 15 (when I first smoked crystal meth)…. I was on the extreme level and addiction developed instantly.
“(I smoked) probably four times before school, then at snack… probably 12 or 13 times a day.”
Her smoking led to experimenting with cocaine, with the reality TV personality explaining it made her feel “rebellious and grown-up”.
Stephanie said her drug addiction led to her battling depression, and suicidal thoughts adding:
“I didn’t care about anything. I could live or die, I didn’t care. I had nothing to get out of bed for, nothing was exciting.”
Following her arrest in 2006, where she was arrested for attempting to steal $4,000 worth of designer clothes while under the influence of drugs, Stephanie recalls how her behaviour made her feel isolated from her family and deeply ashamed:
“I woke up handcuffed to a hospital bed. When I landed back in LA, Mum took me back home and I went upstairs to my old bedroom and I felt so much shame.”

In an attempt to overcome her drug addiction, Stephanie attended a rehab clinic in Texas before taking a spot beside brother Spencer in The Hills in 2007.
Her new-found fame meant Stephanie focused her anxiety on her weight, plummeting to just seven and a half stone by the time the show ended in 2009:
“I lost about six pounds in two weeks but bulimia made my face very puffy so I freaked out and began going on crazy little diets, like I’d only eat Tic Tacs.”
Having overcome her past demons, Stephanie has since become a fan favourite in her stint with the Chelsea crew.
It was revealed in this week’s LA summer special that the star had called time on her one year relationship with Josh Shepherd following a string of explosive rows.
Confirming the split, Stephanie recently spoke to OK! Magazine about the troubles in her relationship with Josh, including his ongoing spat with best friend Lucy Watson.
