She has had a fantastic year so far and things just seem to be getting better and better for Lupita Nyong’o.
The Oscar winner has just topped People magazine’s ‘Most Beautiful’ list for this year (so it won’t beat an Academy Award but still).
Speaking about her most recent title on Today, Lupita said: “I’m flattered, but flattered sounds like such a flighty word, you know? I’m flattered with, like, gravitas under it.
“I mean, you could have never told me that that would happen when I was 16 and insecure about my complexion”.
The 12 Years A Slave star joins the likes of Julia Roberts, Tom Cruise and Halle Berry who have all previously topped the list.
