Katie Price Gives Birth Eight Weeks Early

Katie Price has given birth to a baby boy, who was eight weeks premature, according to various reports this morning.

Jett Riviera, who weighed just 5lbs 2 oz, was delivered by emergency caesarean at a hospital abroad last week after the model developed a serious, and potentially fatal, infection.

She told The Mirror: “I went through a nightmare. The baby’s heart rate was also really low. The next thing I know the nurse is in my room saying get ready now.”

Both mother and son, who was taken to a special care unit and is still in hospital, are said to be “doing well.”

Jett is Katie’s fourth child but first with hubby Kieran Hayler who was not allowed in the operating theatre during the birth.

The model-turned-reality-star has three other children; Harvey from her relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke as well as Junior and Princess from her marriage to pop star Peter Andre.
