Jessica Ennis-Hill And Husband Welcome First Child

Jessica Ennis-Hill and her husband Andy have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy. The Olympic medallist took to Twitter this morning to make the announcement. She wrote: “Our beautiful baby boy Reggie Ennis-Hill was born yesterday. We couldn’t be happier x”.

At the beginning of this year, the athlete revealed that she was pregnant. At the time she said: “I have some very unexpected but exciting news to share – Andy and I are expecting a baby. “We are completely overwhelmed, with excitement and a degree of anxiety that I am sure all first time parents will relate to”. Jessica also said that she now intends to return to full-time athletics and has hopes of going for a second gold medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016.
