It’s Exciting Times For Matthew McConaughey And His Wife Camila Alves

They took to Twitter to share the exciting news.  Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves are celebrating this week following an exciting day on Tuesday. The couple married in 2012. The actor shared a snap on Twitter to show his joy that his wife had finally become a US citizen and the couple are picture with their three children inside a courthouse. “Congratulations Camila on getting your U.S. citizenship today – another fellow and great American,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Camila also shared the good news with her fans writing, “First day back and look what I just went thru. It is with great honor that I am happy to say I now hold an American passport [sic]." The couple pictured with their children. “I have so much respect and appreciation for this country… #newuscitizen [sic].”

The couple had been together for six years before tying the knot in 2012. They have three children, Levi, Vida and Livingston.
