Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves are celebrating this week following an exciting day on Tuesday.
The actor shared a snap on Twitter to show his joy that his wife had finally become a US citizen and the couple are picture with their three children inside a courthouse.
“Congratulations Camila on getting your U.S. citizenship today – another fellow and great American,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Camila also shared the good news with her fans writing, “First day back and look what I just went thru. It is with great honor that I am happy to say I now hold an American passport [sic].”

The couple had been together for six years before tying the knot in 2012. They have three children, Levi, Vida and Livingston.
