It’s All Over: Actress Splits From Fiancé of Two Years

Elizabeth Hurley and Shane Warne have apparently split because of the former cricketer’s relationship with his ex-wife, Simone Callahan.

The couple, who have been engaged for two years, are said to have gone their separate ways and it seems the reason is that the actress was suspicious of his behaviour.

“Liz found out he had been over at Simone’s house a lot,” an insider told The Sun. “She seemed to get the idea that something more than friendship was going on.”

They added: “Liz couldn’t ever handle Shane and Simone still being best friends. He’s never made any secret of the fact that he’ll always love Simone and be a part of her life.”

Shane and Simone’s 10-year marriage came to an end in 2010. It wasn’t long before he was involved with Liz to whom he popped the question less than a year later.

The source explained: “Friends always thought that Liz would be a flash in the pan and that Shane would go back to Simone and the kids eventually. In the past few months they’ve grown close again.”
