“It’s a Girl!” Expecting Star Reveals Baby News at the Emmy Awards

She waited quite a while to confirm her pregnancy, (obvious though it might be!), breaking the news officially while she underwent the Ice Bucket Challenge. 

Now, Hayden Panettiere has revealed that she is expecting a little girl.

The Nashville star was walking the red carpet in a beautiful sequinned gown when she stopped to chat with E! host Giuliana Rancic, revealing that she and fiancé Wladimir Klitschko are having a girl. She said "I can't wait for her to come out, this little one!"

"It's a girl?" Rancic asked.

"I think I just said that, didn't I?" Panettiere replied. "Yes, it's a little girl."

The 25-year-old also said that she and her boxer finance are still considering name options, saying: "We have to make sure that it is American and Ukrainian all at the same time".

"That's a little rough... we're still working on it."
