Peter Andre tied the knot to his partner Emily McDonagh last weekend, and has now opened up on his excitement to start married life.
The Mysterious Girl singer told new! Magazine:
“I’m so delighted to tell you all that yes, Ems and I tied the knot at the weekend!”
The pair, who are parents to 18-month old daughter Amelia, wed in an intimate ceremony in Mamhead House in Exeter, South West England, on Saturday.
Speaking about his new bride, Peter said:
“Ems looked absolutely beautiful”.
The couple married in an intimate ceremony at Mamhead House.
It’s believed that the couple exchanged vows in front of a close group of family and friends, with Peter aiming to keep his family out of the spotlight.
A family friend told The Sun newspaper that Peter was looking to create the perfect atmosphere for quiet Emily, adding that he was planning to perform a new song:
“Peter wants to make it a really personal affair. The song is very poignant and means a lot to him.”
Reports claim that Andre’s daughter Princess and son Junior, from his first marriage to Katie Price, acted as flower girl and page boy on the day.
It was originally thought that the couple would marry next year but speaking recently, Peter hinted that he and Emily were to make things official this year.
