The actress starred alongside Brosnan in Die Another Day, a project she never thought she'd be involved in.
Berry starred as Bond girl, Jinx in Brosnan's final movie in the franchise. He starred in four Bond films before bowing out in Die Another Day.
Speaking about her former co-star, Berry said he was a true gentleman.
She told Wired: "He will always be my Bond, always.
"I’m a Pierce Brosnan fan. He restored my faith in men on that movie," she shared.
The actress added: "There couldn’t be a human who is more of a gentleman than Pierce Brosnan."
She said she never expected to work on a Bond movie but is honoured to be part of cinematic history.
"Bond wasn’t on my wish list, no, not to be in one, but I loved the movies, always.
"Having been in one, I feel like I’m a part of cinematic history. … Those movies are iconic. They will forever be a part of our history, and I’m really honored to have been a part of one, especially with Pierce," she added.
Berry was married to Eric Benét when she was filming the Bond movie in 2002. However, the pair divorced in 2005 after he was accused of being unfaithful.
She also opened up about experiencing domestic abuse in a previous relationship but did not disclose which partner it was.
