The 'Love Island' star revealed he was moving on from the show in an emotional statement.
Greg credited the team and his co-hosts for shaping him into the presenter he is.
He praised the Virgin Media team for giving him a shot when he was starting out as a presenter.
"I’ve had such a wonderful time over the past year presenting in this seat. The learnings I’ve taken are invaluable, and I’m so appreciative to the women I had the pleasure of presenting alongside."
Greg said he had "so much craic" working on the show, but it's time to move on.
"From interviewing icons such as President Mary Robinson and superstar celebrities like Gok Wan, to doing FRIENDS dance routines live on TV, there has never been a dull moment."
Greg praised the team behind the cameras for making his time on the show so incredibly special.
"A massive thank you to everyone in the team behind the camera because without you all there literally wouldn’t be a show," he wrote on Instagram.
Greg said he could not wait to see the new direction the show goes in and promised to watch as a fan going forward.
He also said he's excited for whatever the future has in store for him.
"I’m looking forward to seeing the new vision for the 'Six O'Clock Show' and whatever crazy adventure the future has in store for me next."
