Georgie Crawford is finally on her way back to Ireland following the birth of her baby girl in Georgia.

The mum had to remain in Georgia until baby Thalie’s passport and paperwork were sorted out.

However, the family is finally on their way back home, and we couldn’t be happier for them.

Georgie shared the exciting update this morning on Instagram.

“Ireland We’re on our way home. Wish us luck!! Dreams come true xx” the mum wrote.

Georgie told her followers that she was feeling emotional as she said goodbye to Georgia yesterday.

It had been her home for the past few weeks and the place where her baby girl was born, but it was finally time for her family to return to Ireland.

“We’re off to the airport in a couple of hours. So I’m soaking up my last Tbilisi cuddles with my little miracle baby,” the mum said.

“Words cannot describe how grateful I am. I’m sad to be leaving the incredible people who have made this possible for us. Georgia will forever be part of our family,” Georgie added.

The mum recently opened up about how she was feeling homesick during her time in Georgia.

She said waiting for her daughter’s passport and paperwork meant they couldn’t return home to Ireland.

She told her followers that she couldn’t wait to get back to Ireland after baby Thalie’s birth.

“Loads of people were asking us why we can’t bring Tahlie home just yet, so basically there’s lots of paperwork to prove she’s Irish.”

“We have to get an emergency passport for her so that’s what we’re waiting for.

“I really miss my family, and my house, I’m just dying to go home. I’m really homesick today so we’re just going to mind ourselves.”

Georgie’s beautiful baby girl was born via surrogacy in September.
