Fire At Home Of One Direction Star Leaves Friend Hospitalised

A fire at Liam Payne’s apartment has left his best friend Andy Samuels in hospital.

According to reports this morning a fire broke out at the One Direction star’s apartment after a patio heater exploded around 10.00pm on Monday night.

Liam’s close friend Andy Samuels was one of the three people rushed to hospital following the blaze.

It is said that the singer, who was not thought to be hurt in the incident, was in his apartment at the time and rushed to help his friend after the explosion.

Andy’s girlfriend Daisie Smith took to Twitter this morning to reassure friends and fans that he is recovering.

She wrote: “Thank you so much for all of your lovely messages & prayers. On behalf of Andy’s family & I we’d like you to know he is in a stable condition.”

The other two people who were taken to hospital, a man and a woman, suffered superficial burns to their hands.

The fire apparently destroyed 80 per cent of Liam’s balcony. It took 35 fire fighters to put it out.
