Engaged: Corrie Actress Says Yes To Dubai Proposal

Rumours are rife this morning that Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are engaged.

Apparently the reality-star-turned-television-presenter got down on one knee during their recent holiday to Dubai and she said yes.

 

Mark and Michelle are said to be engaged.

The Mirror claims the couple, who have been dating for nine months, have only told close friends and family (not sure how they know but anyway).

A source told the newspaper: “Mark planned the proposal for some time. For the past few months he has known that Michelle is The One and wanted to surprise her with a romantic proposal.”

The insider explained that Mark also designed the ring before adding: “Both are blissfully in love and Michelle is utterly made-up.”

Since they started dating Corrie star Michelle has been posting lots of cute snaps. 

Mark and Michelle, who have both been engaged before (Michelle to Max George and Mark to Lauren Goodger), reportedly plan to tie the knot next year.

This morning the former TOWIE star tweeted: “Just woke up in the UK from such an amazing holiday at the atlantis in Dubai. Thanks to @jimmythewind @ATLANTIS for making it so special.”

UPDATE (12.30pm): Michelle Keegan has now confirmed on Twitter that she and Mark Wright are engaged.

She wrote: “THANKYOU for all the lovely messages, and yes it’s true @markwright_ and I are engaged !! We are so SO happy :-) xxx [sic]”.
