Daniel O’Donnell Reveals Wife Majella Is Battling Breast Cancer

Daniel O’Donnell has revealed that his wife Majella is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

The singer from Donegal released a statement on his official website earlier today explaining that they are feeling positive and would appreciate privacy at this time.

It read: “I’m sorry to inform you that Majella was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She is undergoing treatment at present and as it was found in the early stage we are very hopeful of a full recovery.

“I know that many of you would like to send your good wishes to Majella but at this time we cannot deal with a lot of mail so we would ask you not to send cards or letters, all we need are your prayers to help us through this difficult time and we know we can rely on that.”

Daniel (51) and Majella (53) tied the knot back in 2002. She has two children from her previous marriage.
