We had a feeling Chantelle Houghton would have something to say about the picture her ex Alex Reid posted on Twitter yesterday and low behold she has said it!
The cage fighter shared a picture of himself and Dolly on his account accompanied by the caption: “Me & my girlfriend! Happy Valentine’s Day! Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx”.
Alex posted this snap on Twitter yesterday.
And it wasn’t long before his former flame Chantelle was criticising him for it (surprise surprise) also on the social media site. She wrote: “She’s your daughter NOT your girlfriend.”
Alex then defended himself saying: “I think some people may have taken what Iv said the wrong way? Jeez, they really need to get a life! [sic]”
The former reality star got a bit of backlash for her tweet.
And he wasn’t the only one to have a go at the model. One tweeter said: “@chantellehought get a grip you uneducated idiot I don’t think he was being serious do you? Anything for a fucking retweet you! [sic]”
Others drew attention to the fact that TOWIE star Mario Falcone used the exact same term for Dolly to which Chantelle replied: “Mario isn’t her dad.”
