Celebrity Couple Split After Four Years Together

Former boxer Joe Calzaghe and dancer Kristina Rihanoff have decided to go their separate ways after four years together.

The couple, who started dating after being paired up on the 2009 series of Strictly Come Dancing, have confirmed the split and explained that it’s down to busy work schedules.

 

Kristina and Joe got together after meeting on Strictly Come Dancing.

Joe told The Sun: “Kristina and I have had several terrific years together. She is a wonderful woman but we have mutually and amicable decided to go our separate ways.

“Various demands on time have meant we have spent less and less time together. That will become more so in the coming months, so it seems wise to end our relationship now as friends.”

 

The couple were together for four years.

Kristina, who is gearing up for the next series of Strictly echoed his sentiments. She said: “Joe is a good man who I will always care about, but it makes sense to part company now.”

The pair met through the BBC dance show but only started dating weeks later after Joe broke things off with his then girlfriend, of five years, Jo Emma-Larvin.
