Blues legend B.B. King was reportedly hospitalised in Las Vegas this week.
According to reports, the 89-year-old was admitted to hospital over the weekend for dehydration.
The news was confirmed to the Los Angeles Times by his publicist.
His daughter later told the publication that he is recovering and that his condition is “much better”.
He was diagnosed with Type II diabetes more than 20 years ago and has been a spokesperson for diabetes awareness since.
King, who began his career in the 1940s and has released over 50 albums, was forced to cancel a number of gigs in October 2014 due to ill health.
