“Am I Missing Something?” – Simon Addresses Baby News

Simon Cowell has finally spoken out about the news that he going to become a father.

The 53-year-old X Factor judge was at the Fox Television Critics Association panel when asked about it.

 

Simon alongside his fellow X Factor USA judges yesterday.

He started out with a joke: “I haven’t read the newspapers. Am I missing something?”

The music mogul then added: “There are a lot of things I will eventually clear up when the time is right. I really have to be sensitive here because there are a lot of people’s feelings involved.”

Earlier this week it emerged that Cowell was expecting his first child with Lauren Silverman, the estranged wife of his estate agent friend Andrew Silverman.

 

Lauren Silverman was snapped with her son last night.

The mother-to-be, who was spotted for the first time last night with her seven-year-old son, also released an official statement.

It said: “I am committed to sorting things out with Andrew as amicably as possible to ensure the well-being of our son. I would hope for some space and privacy in order to work through this.”
