Actress Polly Bergen has died at the age of 84.
She reportedly passed away at her home in Southbury, Connecticut, yesterday in the presence of family and friends after battling emphysema and other illnesses for many years.
As well as starring in films including Cape Fear and Move Over, Darling, Bergen was also successful in the world of television.
You may recognise the Emmy-winning star from hit shows including Desperate Housewives, The Sopranos and Playhouse 90.
Polly Bergen played Lynette Scavo’s mother in hit series Desperate Housewives.
