And then, when she returns home, she uncovers a hidden letter, and begins to remember the lover (Callum Turner) she was willing to risk everything for.
The original book has sold more than three million copies worldwide.
According to Variety, Augustine Frizzell is directing the film. Nick Payne and Esta Spalding have written the script.
