Time to channel your inner Monica Geller.
A Friends cookbook is officially on the way and could we BE any more excited?
It was one of the most beloved TV sitcoms of all time – and 16 years after airing its last episode, Friends’ popularity is showing no signs of slowing down.
Especially after Netflix added all 236 episodes to its library, giving us the ability to watch it again and again.
Well, it looks like we’re going to have a new way to show our love for the Central Perk gang very soon – because a Friends cookbook is officially on the way.
“Whether you’re a seasoned chef like Monica Geller, just starting a catering business like Phoebe Buffay, or a regular old food enthusiast like Joey Tribbiani, Friends: The Official Cookbook offers a variety of recipes for chefs of all levels,” the description for the cookbook reads.
The book has more than 70 recipes inspired by the series, complete with beautiful full-colour photography.
And it includes everything you could possibly think of from the show.
Yes, that’s right: from appetisers to main courses and everything in between, each chapter has treats like Monica’s Friendsgiving Feast, Rachel’s Trifle, Just for Joey Fries, Chandler’s “Milk You Can Chew,” Phoebe’s Grandmother’s Cookies.
And it wouldn’t be a Friends cookbook without The Moist Maker, would it?
“This charming cookbook is both a helpful companion for home cooks and a fun homage to the show that’s always been there for you,” the cookbook continues.
- Friends: The Official Cookbook by Amanda Yee is available to pre-order now. It will be released in September.
