Angela Scanlon has shut down claims that she has had Botox
Irish presenter Angela Scanlon has opened up about the beauty treatments she swears by.
The radio host is often praised for her flawless complexion, but has stressed she does not get Botox.
She said it is one of the things she’s asked about the most, but told her followers that she does not get the popular beauty treatment.
She shared, “If you’ve ever seen me on here or telly, you will know I have a face like Play-Doh. It moves a bit too much at times! So the answer is NO.”
Scanlon respects those who do opt for the treatment and said she’s often asking her friends about it.
“Each to their own. I am constantly quizzing friends of mine who do have it and trying to understand it better, but to be honest, I’m afraid I’d end up with a gammy eye.”
She added: “I had two kids without pain relief, but I also had facial treatments that were worse than that pain, so f*** that!”
Scanlon said there is one treatment that has really helped her achieve such a beautiful complexion.
However, the Irish presenter claimed it is almost as painful as childbirth.
“I had Morpheus 8 done before, and it was torture. If I’m doing it, they have to give me the full dose of cream to get it done,” she told her followers.
But what is Morpheus 8?
According to experts, Morphenus 8 is a non-surgical treatment that smooths wrinkles and tightens skin, and makes your skin glow.
Morpheus 8 is a patented technology that uses radiofrequency energy via microneedles to cause micro-traumas underneath the skin.
It helps to tighten and firm the deeper layers as well as gently resurface the top layer of skin.
