Who knew the lads would love SKIMS? Kim did.
Kim Kardashian has reportedly broken website records with her latest launch of SKIMS menswear.
It is being reported by MailOnline that the website traffic for new collections has broken records, with 25,000 orders made within the first five minutes of its launch last night (October 26th).
While SKIMS started out as a shape-wear brand back in 2019, Kim, being the businesswoman that she is, saw an opportunity to see it become a full clothing range that now caters to men and women.
This business move made sense for the brand, as Jens Grede, CEO and co-founder of SKIMS, revealed that men already accounted for 10% of SKIMS’ existing customer base.
And it appears that this expansion has paid off big time.
The new men’s collection includes underwear, socks, jumpers, sportswear, and a range of t-shirts and tank tops, with prices ranging from €18 up to €64 and bundle items from €28 to €116.
Speaking about the launch of the men’s SKIMS collection, the media model described it as a ‘major milestone for the brand’, as well as a ‘testament to SKIMS’ commitment to providing solutions for everybody’
“I am incredibly excited about this next chapter for SKIMS and cannot wait for everyone to experience our amazing range of products,” she said.
Famous athletes such as Neymar Jr, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Nick Bosa all feature in the campaign video modelling for Kim’s SKIMS’ new underwear line.
The reality star’s brand officially launched in Ireland last week in Brown Thomas, Grafton Street, making her much-sought-after line easier for fans on the Emerald Isle.
In-store shoppers will now be able to try on and buy items from the brand’s renowned signature collections, including Fits Everybody, Seamless Sculpt, and Cotton, as well as fan favourites such as Soft Lounge, Long Slip Dress, Boyfriend Boxers, and T-Shirts.
The range is available in sizes XXS to XXXXL in ten colourways.
