Everything you need to know about the exciting arrival of Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS in Dublin

Kim Kardashian’s famous shapewear line, SKIMS, is FINALLY landing in Dublin.

On October 25th, the highly sought-after clothing will be within arms reach of Irish customers  and there is bound to be huge excitement in the run up to Christmas.

Starting off as an inclusive shape-wear company, SKIMS has expanded in its first four years, selling everything from underwear, to fleece joggers, and stretch vinyl pieces.

Up until this month, Irish customers have had to opt to shop online or in stores across the UK and US but finally you’ll be able to check out their feel and sizing before tapping that card.

The BT website officially confirmed its arrival in-store and said: "From technically constructed shapewear that enhances your curves to underwear that stretches to twice its size, SKIMS exist to provide the best solutions for every need and every body.

“Exclusively available 25th October.”

It’s hard to miss the stunning new window display in the famed city centre store. 

So if you want to finally get an in-person feel for the highend brand, get there early on October 25th - we can already imagine the queues.

Here are some of our favourite pieces to look out for on launch day:

The soft lounge maxi-dresses are hailed online by many existing customers and come in spaghetti strap (€94) and long-sleeve (€104) options.

The website says: “Elevate your loungewear with this super soft, drapey slip dress that offers a comfortable, body-hugging fit. 

“This maxi length dress features a flattering straight neckline, ribbed fabric, and partially adjustable spaghetti straps.”

The standard ‘Cotton Jersey’ for €58  has been the victim of many not-so-great dupes, but none have beat the quality of the real SKIMS material.

It’s described as “the perfect crewneck tee, this breathable, everyday classic is made with cool, comfortable stretch-cotton and finished with sporty stitching.”

We’re a big fan of their ‘Cotton Fleece Classic Hoodie’ which retails for €86. 

The brand says it’s made with its “softest fleece fabric and updated with a slightly longer length and more open neckline. Features front kangaroo pockets, a double-lined hood, and a ribbed waistband and cuffs. Fits true to size.”

The stock that will be available in SKIMS, Brown Thomas has yet to be confirmed, but with these leading the sales on the website, they’re bound to be there.
