WATCH: CCTV Footage Of The EgyptAir Hijacker Evading Security Has Been Released

Footage of the EgyptAir hijacker going through security at Alexandria International Airport in Egypt has emerged.

Seif Eldin Mustafa hijacked the EgyptAir passenger jet after taking off from Alexandria, forcing it to make an emergency landing in Cyprus’ Larnaca airport.

He took several passengers and crew hostage, including an Irishman, and demanded to see his Cypriot ex-wife.

The hijack came to an end shortly before 1pm when Mustafa was arrested by authorities.

Now, CCTV footage showing Mustafa calmly walking through security just minutes before he ordered the pilot to divert flight MS181 wearing what appeared to be a suicide belt packed with explosives.
