It’s fair to say that weather has been a bit unsettled over the last few days, with conditions turning from sunny to thundery in a matter of minutes.
It seems that IT Blanchardstown got some of the worst of the stormy conditions as it was hit by some serious lightning yesterday, as captured on camera by one of the staff.
The bolt hits towards the end of the clip and after seeing this, we’ll definitely be staying in tonight!
Meanwhile, LUAS services in Dublin City have been hit by delays this evening after lightning strikes hit the Green Line.
Some routes were suspended for a time but all services are now believed to be in operation.
