What a sight! It’s not often that you spot a shark off the Cork coast.
Filmed by a drone, this cool video captures a basking shark that’s making its way around the ocean.
Uploaded by Andrew O’Riordan, the shark seems to be enjoying the sunny weather just as much as the boat’s occupants, contently swimming along.
“What a great day and amazing weather, very lucky to see the sharks in our stretch of coastline, when we spotted the sharks we switched the engine off and enjoyed the view!” writes Andrew.
Basking sharks are the second largest fish after the whale shark, and thankfully only eat tiny plankton.
