An outpour of support from every corner of the globe comes this morning, as Paris awakes to the news of the second terrorist attack in the city in a year.

On Friday night, just months after the Charlie Hebdo massacre claimed the lives of 12 people, six co-ordinated attacks throughout the French capital has brought devastation to the country once again.

France declared a state of emergency after more than 120 people were killed in a series shooting and bombings across Paris.

According to Sky News, the Paris prosecutor has said ‘at least 38 people died in shootings and bombings at bars, restaurants and a stadium in the capital – before at least another 80 people were feared killed at the Bataclan concert hall’.

120 people were feared dead last night following shootings at a Eagles of Death Metal concert in the Parisian venue.

EarthCam showed the moving images from around the world as cities #StandWithParis in support and solidarity.

New York’s World Trade Centre paid respects by changing the colours of its spire to blue, white and red.

NYPD confirmed that it has increased security at tourist attractions and the French consulate in the city.

“Teams have been dispatched to crowded areas around the city out of an abundance of caution to provide police presence and public reassurance as we follow the developing situation overseas,” a statement read.

Toronto’s famous CN Tower took on the French flag colours.

Last night, the Convention Centre in the Dublin Docklands also donned the French colours to show their solidarity following the Paris attacks.
