This was seen by many as the Notorious simply garnering attention, or perhaps leveraging his power over Dana White and the Ultimate Fighting Championship, just days before his UFC 200 re-match with Nate Diaz.
It was hoped that any issues would be resolved before the big event. However, in a dramatic development, UFC have now confirmed that McGregor will NOT fight at UFC 200. Indeed they suggest that they have pulled the fighter rather than the other way round.
