Two weather warnings are in place for 13 counties today

Take care.

Take care.

Met Eireann has issued two separate weather warnings for today. They’re both status yellow rainfall warnings, mainly affecting the west and north-west.

The first is for the whole of Connacht, Donegal, Clare, Tipperary, Limerick, Waterford and Kilkenny, where 30-50mm of rainfall accumulation is expected until 9 o’clock this evening (Wednesday, September 27th).

The other warning is for Cork and Kerry where heavy rain is also expected to affect the area, with hilly and mountainous areas potentially getting even more rain.

The weather will improve by Thursday morning but will become unsettled again towards the weekend with Saturday night expected to be the wettest and windiest.
